"I am currently a senior pursuing a degree in Middle School Math Education, which has equipped me with a strong foundation in mathematics content, pedagogy, and child development. My coursework has focused on instructional strategies that support conceptual understanding, differentiated instruction, and integrating technology into learning. While I am still completing my degree, my academic preparation has given me the tools to plan engaging, student-centered lessons and respond to a wide range of learner needs. My training also includes classroom management and assessment design, which I apply when planning tutoring sessions to ensure both structure and progress.

My teaching experience spans over three years and includes a variety of settings. I’ve served as a long-term substitute teacher for a combined first and second-grade classroom, where I created daily lesson plans, differentiated instruction for individual students, and provided after-school support. Additionally, I’ve worked as an art teacher for elementary students, where I developed an original curriculum and integrated creativity and hands-on learning into every lesson—skills that enhance my ability to make math approachable and visual for students. I also volunteered as a Kindergarten Sabbath School teacher for two years and substituted across all grades at Ridgetop Adventist School, further strengthening my adaptability and ability to connect with young learners.
