"Hi everyone! My name is Taha, and I just graduated from Texas A&M with a Public Health degree. While I don't have a formal teaching certification, my personal academic history and tutoring experience give me a solid foundation to help students with Algebra or SAT Math. I got above a 700 on the SAT Math section in high school and excelled on the STAAR Algebra test. In 11th grade, I also personally tutored a 17-year-old student taking Algebra 2.

My teaching philosophy is to help the student as much as I can, but also let the student learn and grow on their own. For example, when I taught the Algebra 2 student, I taught him what he needed to know, and then let him work toward the answer instead of just giving him the answers. He told me he actually appreciated that technique because it helped him learn more effectively. This approach allows the student to improve their critical thinking skills and learn how to problem-solve on their own during tests or quizzes when help isn't available.
