My primary credentials are: BA in Economics U of Chicago, JD U of Miami School of Law, and LL.M Taxation New York University School of Law. Member of the Massachusetts and Florida Bars. Experienced in Tax Law, Estate Planning, Consumer Bankruptcy, and generally Legal Research, Writing, and Editing.

In my "second career" (Education), between 2005 - 2015 I taught Math full-time for grades 5-8 and 9-12, in Boston Public Schools and alternative ed/residential Department of Youth Services settings, working with at-risk urban youth. I am Certified to teach Math.

I also taught STEM subjects (Intro Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Computers/Technology), but am not certified in those other STEM subjects. I updated this profile and my list of "Subjects" in Wyzant as of September 2020 to narrow my focus. My specialties really are Law, Tax Law, Real Estate License exam prep, Math through Algebra 2, and STANDARDIZED TEST PREP (SAT, LSAT inc LOGIC GAMES, GMAT, GED).

My students describe me as "patient and precise". I can communicate with people from all walks of life on all learning levels. I am careful to find and fill gaps in knowledge, to restore confidence in Math and Logic. I encourage independence and critical thinking.
