"I am Ndabazezwe. And I am a teacher holding a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education with an additional emphasis in Educational Administration. I am experienced in teaching first grade through high school.

After graduating with a diploma in Education in 1993, I have been teaching different grades from first through tenth. I am proficient in Math, Science, Language Arts, Social Studies, Geography, and History.

My Teacher Training Curriculum was designed to equip us (graduates) with skills that enabled us to teach from K-12 to meet the demand for teachers since Zimbabwe was just emerging from struggle for independence from colonialism. For example in applied education I did English Language, Math, Environmental Science, Music, Art, Physical Education, Religious and Moral Education, Home Economics, Social Studies and one indigenous language(Ndebele).

In theory of Education I did Educational Philosophy, Educational Sociology and Educational Psychology. My main subject was History while my Curriculum depth Study was Social studies. It is this theory gained in the afore mentioned subjects that make me a great tutor when I apply it into practice.

Most students I have tutored in Math are a testimony that I am an outstanding tutor given the success stories they tell about me.

My engagement with Guilford County Schools as an Assistant Teacher coupled with my expansive experience in education as a teacher have equipped me with skills to effectively deliver in Common Core areas.

I am of the conviction that teaching and learning are processes rather than events. By implication we must not give up when faced with challenges in any learning scenario, instead we should seek ways to over come those challenges." less...
