My name is Nicole and I am thrilled to start tutoring with Wyzant. I am in my seventh year teaching, the first five in fifth grade and this year and last in fourth. I went to the University of Michigan and have an Elementary Education Bachelor of Arts with a language arts endorsement and a writing minor. I have always worked in a self contained classroom where I am able to teach large group, small group, and individually.

I truly believe in empowering students to build the confidence they need to be successful in today's society, starting with learning. It is important to help students gather tools for their toolbox to be able to use strategies for problem solving and academic work when working independently.
