"I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Arizona Christian University in 2013 with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and an English minor. While there, I tutored high school exchange students in English. I helped students research, format, proofread, and write essays. After I graduated, I taught fourth grade in both Arizona and North Carolina. Having taught children as well as high school students, I have become adept at making concepts accessible to students at a broad range of levels. My main goal as a tutor is to make learning a more positive and affirming experience for students while giving them access to necessary knowledge and skills to help them succeed.
