With a US Chess rating of 2100, I am in the 98th percentile in the nation and 99th percentile in IL (top 50 as of November 2025)

I have been teaching since 2013 and helped improve many chess players.

In addition to teaching chess, I am also happy to help you get started on how to play in over-the-board chess tournaments too!

Beginners: I would like to help you understand the basic strategies before going through some puzzles to help with your pattern recognition.

Intermediate/advanced: I will spend time going over your games and figuring out which openings/puzzles works best for you!"
