"I am a designer, educator, and artist with several years of experience teaching drawing and creative skills to students of all ages. I earned my Ed.M. from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, where I focused on how people learn best through creativity, visual thinking, and hands-on exploration. I currently teach design and visual communication at the university level, and I bring the same clarity, patience, and enthusiasm to my one-on-one drawing instruction as I do to the classroom.

I have taught beginners, hobbyists, and advanced art students in both group and individualized settings, including community art programs, private lessons, and college-level studio courses. My teaching approach is warm, encouraging, and highly adaptive—I meet every student where they are, whether they want to build strong fundamentals, strengthen observational skills, prepare a portfolio, or simply rediscover the joy of making art. I use a combination of demonstrations, guided practice, constructive feedback, and creative exercises to help students develop confidence and see real progress in their work.
