My name is Lillian, but I go by my middle name, Jane. I am excited about the opportunity to serve you in furthering your education. I graduated from Liberty University with a Master’s Degree in Human Services with an emphasis in Christian Ministry. I have a bachelor’s degree in business and religion.

I also have taken several Master’s level classes in religion. So I have much experience in writing research papers. Due to this experience in writing and researching, I have acquired some expertise in writing, grammar, and spelling. I worked as an online writing tutor with Liberty University for ten months. I tutored undergraduate students in their writing skills. I reviewed their papers and gave pointers on how to improve their papers.

I do have some experience in teaching, although I do not have a teaching degree. I have taken a class on teaching and learning styles. I home-schooled my daughter for six years throughout middle school and high school. In this process, I learned a lot about different learning styles and teaching methods.

My tutoring approach will be to help you not only improve your writing, spelling, and grammar skills, but to also help you to better understand the process of writing skills. I will help you explore for yourself methods to improve your skills. There are several resources available to which I can point you. I will try to determine your learning style—auditory, visual, hand-on, etc. and try to help you within the learning style that best fits you. I admit, I am fairly new in the tutoring process, but I look forward to helping you and learning along with you.
