"Hello! I am a seasoned chemistry tutor specializing in organic chemistry. I am a former college professor seeking students interested in not only passing but mastering the art of organic synthesis. In addition to building organic chemistry courses from the ground up, I have competency in biochemistry and general chemistry (and can tutor these subjects ad hoc).

I am familiar with many texts and has plenty of sample problems from years of teaching. My students will receive an organic chemistry handbook as well as lecture slides that I have authored and used in my lectures for free. My handbook breaks down topics into understandable chunks. I focus not on rote memorization (though knowing your reaction tool box is key) but on how to use concepts like Lewis Acid/Lewis Base to decipher all sorts of challenges in organic chemistry.

As a little more information about me, I possess a PhD in synthetic organic chemistry and actively taught several courses in organic chemistry at multiple instutions (UCONN, UPenn, VCU).
