"I’m a veterinary student at the University of Pennsylvania with a strong academic background in animal science, biology, and wildlife studies, which I developed through my Bachelor of Science at Penn State. I’ve gained hands-on clinical experience in small animal medicine, wildlife rehabilitation, and exotic animal care through roles at veterinary hospitals and a study abroad program in Costa Rica. My research has focused on animal behavior and cognition, particularly how personality influences operant learning in birds and fish. I’ve had the opportunity to present this work at national conferences, and I’m comfortable with a wide range of technical skills—from laboratory diagnostics like urinalysis and fecal flotation to ethogram creation and behavioral analysis. I also bring experience with tools like Excel, BORIS, and Canva, and hold multiple certifications in animal care and biosafety.

In addition to my clinical and research experience, I served as a Teaching Assistant for an undergraduate Animal Genetics course at Penn State, where I led review sessions and helped students understand key concepts like Mendelian inheritance and molecular genetics.
