"Hello, I am Fatima! I grew up in St. Louis and graduated from University of Missouri with cum laude on the pre-medicine track, with a Bachelor's in psychology and minor in biology in 3 years. During my time in college, I tutored high school/college students over 200+ hours in pre-medical requisites such as organic chemistry, biology, and psychology. Every student learns differently either through practice questions or reading so I like to initially understand what my student likes and adjust my teaching to best suit their needs.

I spent 6 months studying for the MCAT by doing countless of practice exams from Kaplan and reading MCAT books which I scored 517. I was then accepted into medical school in Kansas City, Missouri and am currently in my third year doing rotations in Indiana after completing my first set of board exams.

I have always had a great interest in medicine and devotion to helping individuals especially in rural communities who are not fortunate to have access to optimal health care. I enjoy challenging myself and medicine is a career where challenges are thrown at you daily, forcing you to analyze all pieces of the puzzle to tackle on the challenge. I have had the great privilege of being taught my phenomenal instructors, allowing me to constantly improve my teaching style. I want to encourage and instill a great foundation of knowledge for my students to aid in their future ambitions. Having gone through the medicine track and being in medical school currently, I understand the high levels of stress and anxiety that can be associated with it.
