"I am a Developmental Studies Instructor at Calhoun Community College. My primary duty is to help students develop their writing skills. As much as I enjoy teaching in a classroom setting, I've always found one-on-one and small group teaching to be the most efficient and rewarding.

I was born in the United States, but grew up in Southeast Asia. I returned to the US after graduating high school. I've earned two degrees; one in Liberal Arts, and one in English, with a minor in Behavioral Science.

Before I was a teacher, my work background was very eclectic. I have worked in both public and private security, libraries, coffee shops, junk yards and schools.
