"Hi everyone! My name is Puja, and I graduated cum laude from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry. My strong foundation in the sciences, combined with years of hands-on teaching experience, enables me to tutor a wide range of subjects—including algebra, physics, biology, chemistry, and English. Throughout college, I worked as a General Chemistry Honors Teaching Assistant for three years, where I led weekly problem-solving sessions, graded coursework, and provided one-on-one academic support to students navigating a rigorous chemistry curriculum. This experience sharpened my ability to explain complex topics in ways that are accessible and engaging. During high school, I took IB and AP classes, achieving high scores on all examinations, which I am confident is possible for everyone with the right method.

In addition to my college-level teaching experience, I’ve been tutoring students for over eight years, including four years at a K–12 tutoring center, where I worked with children and teens in math and English. I’ve taught students ranging in age from 4 to 23 years old, both in one-on-one and small group settings, across various academic levels and learning styles. Whether I’m helping a kindergartener build reading fluency or a college student prepare for organic chemistry, I believe in tailoring my approach to meet each student’s unique needs because my students (you!) are equals whose opinions, personalities, and preferences need to be taken into account.
