"I’ve spent over three decades helping students master mathematics, with a particular focus on high schoolers preparing for AP Calculus AB and BC—and virtually every math course below it. I hold both undergraduate and graduate degrees in Mathematics from Virginia Tech, and my teaching career began in Miami before I moved to the American School in London, where I taught for 20 years. Alongside my classroom work, I’ve been a private tutor for over two decades, supporting students one-on-one through complex coursework, competitive admissions prep, and academic recovery.

My tutoring clients have come from all over the world, often from highly demanding academic environments or families with unique logistical needs. In addition to online sessions, I’ve been hired to provide in-person, in-residence tutoring—whether that meant staying in a family’s summer home or yacht while a student prepared for a high-stakes term ahead. I understand the need for flexibility, discretion, and trust when working with high-profile families, and I’ve built long-term relationships based on all three.
