"I am a full-time English Teacher and Adjunct Instructor with over eight years of experience tutoring students of all ages, from children just learning to read to adults returning to school. My expertise spans English, Writing, Grammar, Essay Coaching, Test Prep (SAT/ACT), and College Applications. I’ve worked with dozens of students one-on-one, tailoring lessons to their goals and helping them not only master material but also build lasting confidence.

I have partnered with institutions such as The Princeton Review, Kaplan, and Huntington Learning Center, coaching students in ELA, SAT/ACT prep, and ESL. Beyond private tutoring, I have volunteered with the New York Public Library and the Brooklyn Public Library to bring English instruction to diverse communities.

I graduated magna cum laude in English and Comparative Literature from NYU and earned a Master’s in Writing from The New School, where I also taught as an adjunct. During my studies, I received multiple academic grants for research, presented at undergraduate and doctoral symposiums, and built a strong foundation in public speaking and academic writing.

As a writer, I’ve been published internationally in research periodicals at Yale, the University of Pennsylvania, and UC Berkeley, as well as in online newspapers abroad. I also served three years as Editor-in-Chief of NYU’s Literature Journal. My teaching experience includes serving as a Student Teacher at Gotham Writers’ Workshop, where I further refined my skills.

My philosophy is simple: confidence comes through communication. Whether it’s acing a test, mastering grammar, or polishing an essay, building these skills raises confidence for life.
