"I graduated from Duke University, where I completed rigorous coursework in the biological and health sciences. My academic training at Duke helped me develop a strong foundation in subjects such as biology, chemistry, physiology, and the core sciences required for medical school. I am now continuing that path as a medical student, which allows me to bring an up-to-date, clinically relevant understanding of the material I tutor.

Throughout college and beyond, I have worked extensively with students in a variety of tutoring and teaching settings. I tutored in Durham public schools, working one-on-one with middle and high school students in science and math, and later supported peers and younger students in college-level biology, chemistry, and pre-medical coursework. I’ve also helped students strengthen study techniques, build efficient learning systems, and improve confidence in complex scientific subjects.

My tutoring approach is structured, supportive, and tailored to each learner. I focus on helping students truly understand the underlying concepts rather than memorizing facts.
