I've been told that by quite a few people, and literally everyone I have worked with has had the potential to do quite well in math classes, but they just haven't unlocked that capability. Sometimes their teachers are really bad, sometimes it's just that the subject matter is really hard, and sometimes it's just their low confidence holding them back. Regardless, I think that you have the capability to do math. Let's unlock that capability together.

About Me:

Hi! I'm Justin, and I'm a recent graduate from UCI. Ever since I've been in high school, I've learned that I love to solve complex problems in math. At the same time, I learned I also really love to help people with those problems. I find that many teachers nowadays explain concepts terribly, as they're just trying to get through the lecture. Being fresh out of school and an active tutor, I know exactly what it's like to struggle with poor teachers.

In terms of my tutoring style, I'm pretty flexible. If you'd rather have a lesson that's more of a lecture-style where I just explain the concepts clearly and show some examples, that's cool. I find, though, that most people prefer going over specific problems and topics they've been having trouble, which is my specialty.

Before any lessons, just send me the topics and / or questions you'd like to work on, and we'll go ahead and work through them. We can study ahead for a test, go over some graded work you've received, or do some homework.

I've taught four years of high school math, and tutored students intermittently (on and off) for many years. I've tutored hundreds - if not thousands - of students, and I find it's very rare that a student has trouble with my help.
