"My name is Carlos, and I’m a professional trumpet teacher and music educator with over 20 years of experience helping students of all ages and skill levels reach their musical goals. I hold a Bachelor's in Music Performance from San Diego State University and was trained as a Fellow at The New England Conservatory of Music in Boston. Over the years, I’ve taught in a variety of settings—from public schools and private studios to masterclasses and online lessons—working with everyone from absolute beginners to advanced players preparing for conservatory auditions. My students have gone on to join youth orchestras, earn music scholarships, and deepen their lifelong appreciation for music.

My teaching approach is patient, positive, and highly personalized. I believe that no two students learn the same way, which is why I take the time to understand your goals, interests, and learning style before designing a lesson plan tailored just for you.
