I graduated in the top 10% of my class with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, focusing on research, from University of Central Florida. My love of research and communicating the details lead me to further focus on writing. I bring this knowledge to my tutoring approach and do everything I can to share my enthusiasm with students from elementary through high school.

I am currently beginning my 4th year classroom teaching High School Honors English to 9th and 10th graders and before that spent three years teaching 4th graders. I have spent over 10 years coaching and tutoring students one-on-one, helping them build confidence, improve their writing and reading skills, and reach their academic goals. Sharing a love of literature and the fundamentals of writing with students, my approach begins with identifying their unique strengths and challenges. Whether it’s mastering literary analysis, preparing essays, or refining grammar, I tailor my support to each student’s need, always rooted in strong relationships and mutual trust.

I also bring the perspective of a parent with my own college-aged children, which keeps me closely connected to the challenges and opportunities students face today.
