"Hi! I’m Alexia, a rising junior at Tufts University on the pre-med track, majoring in Biopsychology. With a strong academic foundation and firsthand experience navigating rigorous science courses, I’m passionate about helping students succeed in General Chemistry—a subject I know can be challenging without the right support.

My tutoring approach focuses on clarity, strategy, and building confidence. I believe in the power of active learning—mastering a concept through consistent practice and exposure to a variety of problems. During sessions, I guide students through not just the “how” but also the “why,” helping them develop critical thinking skills and deeper conceptual understanding. Whether we’re reviewing class material, working through problem sets, or prepping for an exam, I aim to create a supportive and structured learning environment tailored to each student’s goals.

Over the past two years, I’ve worked with both high school and college students in General Chemistry through a combination of private in-person sessions and virtual tutoring. My experience includes supporting peers at Tufts in STEM coursework, tutoring local high school students one-on-one, and helping students prepare for class tests and standardized exams.
