"My journey into education began with the earliest of mornings, teaching English online to young learners across the globe. Waking up at 2am to go to work was not ideal, but connecting with my students and helping him grow made it truly worthwhile This experience inspired me to pursue a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education, eventually leading me to classrooms in both Seattle and Hawaii. Throughout my career, I have specialized in supporting Special Education students and English Language Learners, learning firsthand that every student has a unique rhythm and a specific set of tools they need to succeed.

I believe that true learning cannot happen without a foundation of trust; you simply can’t absorb new information unless you feel seen and interested. My teaching philosophy is built on personal connections and relating "hard" material to the things we already know and love. Beyond the subject matter, I focus on finding practical solutions for executive functioning and study habits—the "behind the scenes" skills that make school feel manageable.
