"I believe anyone can learn math with the right support and encouragement. My own journey as a tutor began with helping family members improve their math skills, which taught me the value of patience, clear explanations, and celebrating small wins. Professionally, I have worked at Mathnasium, where I provided individualized and small-group instruction for students of various grade levels. This experience gave me the tools to adapt my teaching methods to different learning styles and to build a strong foundation in core math concepts.

I also held a work-study position at BruinCorps, a program dedicated to tutoring low-income students. In that role, I worked with learners who often faced limited resources and high levels of math anxiety. I learned how to break down complex problems into manageable steps, use real-life examples to make math more relatable, and provide consistent encouragement to help students believe in their own abilities.
