"I hold a Ph.D. in biochemistry from Rutgers University. My graduate research focused on addressing the protein folding problem, a fundamental question in molecular biology and structural biochemistry. Following my doctoral studies, I completed my postdoctoral training at the University of Pennsylvania in the field of Immuno-Oncology, working in the laboratory of Dr. Carl June, a pioneer in the development of CAR-T cell therapy. This work involved cutting-edge research in engineering a patient’s own immune cells to recognize and destroy cancer.

In addition to my research, I independently developed and taught a 400 level course at Rutgers University titled “Molecular Mechanisms of Disease.” I have extensive experience tutoring grade level through college students in Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics. I live by the philosophy “anyone can make things complicated, but what’s complicated is making things simple.” I take pride in simplifying complex concepts into clear, intuitive explanations that help students gain both confidence and mastery.
