I am an outstanding reading specialist because I enjoy reading all different types of genres. I have taught reading for many years and I like to focus on comprehension, vocabulary, and being able to support texts using evidence from the texts and supporting it with real life events that is going on in our society today.

I have a Masters degree in special needs and I've been working with special needs children since I was 18 years old. I started as a teachers assistant at an Daycare center in Long Island, New York. My focus with working with students with special needs is to first understand what their goals are and where they need the most improvement. I'm familiar with IEPs and 504s. I understand that all students have a unique way learning and I try my hardest to be able to provide my educational services and expertise for my students to reach academic success.

I am an outstanding historian because I enjoy learning about the past and where we come from. My major in undergrad was History and Political Science. My concentration was in European History and I wrote a great thesis about Marie Antoinette and how she was a great Queen. Even though the French government and people made her seem like a greedy Queen who only wanted to run France into a financial ruin. But, what we don't know is how she helped unwedded mothers and often gave away her diamonds and jewels to help children in poverty. My knowledge of American and European history is very informative.
