"It's said that the Last Mile is an infamous problem in logistics networks, because no matter how extensive, say, a train network might be, you can't build a train station next to everyone's home address. That is to say, individual needs won't always be directly addressed by a large system.

Education works the same way.

When we take classes, study textbooks, watch recorded lectures, that information has probably not been tailored for us. More often than not it's one-size-fits-all, or as some say, fits nobody.

As a tutor my goal is to help you with that Last Mile. If you've ever had to walk a long way to bus stop or train station, or drive a long way to an airport, you might know what it's like to have a lack of accessibility, so consider me your chauffer. If you've ever worn clothes that didn't perfectly fit, consider me your tailor.

I teach several topics, primarily in Mathematics, Physics, and Linguistics. Of all of them Mathematics truly suffers the most from the Last Mile Problem. It's often not taught with individuality in mind, and once you miss a step, it can feel like chasing after a runaway train. It's not your fault that you don't live next to a train station, and it's probably not the train's fault that it doesn't stop at your doorstep, sometimes you just need a way to get on, and I hope to be that for you.
