"I have just graduated with two degrees in Bioengineering and Biochemistry from Santa Clara University. I will be furthering my education at UC Berkeley for a professional Master's with hopes of joining the Biotech industry. I have been inducted into prestigious societies such as Tau Beta Pi, Alpha Sigma Nu, and Phi Beta Kappa. I am also a researcher working on wearable microfluidic devices that leverage small volumes of liquid to monitor a user's health. I have presented my work at annual conferences.

I have worked as a tutor since I was 14, starting in Kumon, then tutoring for programs in my high school and college. I have tutored young kids (3+) up to college students throughout my life. I have spent the most time tutoring Chemistry and Precalculus to college freshman and sophomores. I have also tutored physics, calculus, biology, and circuits.

After tutoring at several programs throughout my life, I have developed the philosophy of prioritizing the fundamentals over simply drilling problem sets. It's more important to know how mathematical functions work and why, or why molecules act the way they do. By understanding the basics, students are better equipped to tackle problems that they've never seen before and are able to extrapolate ideas from their base knowledge.
