"I am a historian, educator, researcher-writer, and editor based in the Midwest United States. I hold B.A. History, M.A. Education, and M.A. History, cum laude, degrees. I have taught elementary, high school, and college in various Philippine schools before migrating to America as a legal permanent resident in 2023. I also worked as an editor in my first job in the United States. I am bilingual in both English and Filipino.

As a professional historian and educator, my areas of interests include: (a) Colonialism and Post-Colonialism, (b) Cultural and Intellectual, (c) Global History, (d) Social Science and History Education, and (e) Cultural Heritage Studies. I teach following a systematic, narrative approach, and I integrate historical empathy, values, and "lived experience" approaches inside the classroom. I strive to make certain all lessons are taught in structured details, catering to diverse learner styles and backgrounds. I have presented papers in various conferences around the world as well.
