"I am currently a medical school student at Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine. I also received a Master’s degree in Medical Science at Boston University School of Medicine and a Bachelor's degree in Biology with a Specialization in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, and Genetics (CMG) at Boston University. My academic background has given me a great foundation for science/medical courses. I believe this foundation allows me to provide academic guidance to students by clarifying material and offering additional resources to reinforce learning.

I am a current Teaching Assistant for Biochemistry, Genetics, Physiology, Immunology, and Microbiology for first year medical students and masters students. I was also a tutor in the Touro PA-DO tutoring program where I gained skills in teaching complex medical concepts. I was also a volunteer tutor and mentor for Sociedad Latina STEAM TEAM, an afterschool program for middle school students, where I learned skills in encouraging student engagement by making the material fun and easier to understand. With my background, I will be able to contribute all these skills to overall help students understand the material in a more effective way.
