"Hi! I’m Andrew, and I’m an experienced teacher, writer, and journalist. I hold a BA in English and an MFA in Creative Writing, and I’ve taught writing, English, essay writing, and creative writing to high school and college students.

Writing is difficult. I know that as well as anyone. I’ve written journalism, essays, novels, TV scripts, and the process is always a challenge – but a challenge that I love.

My goal in tutoring is to help students identify their primary challenges with writing or literature and transform them into opportunities for success. I do this by creating small, actionable goals that students can execute, breaking down complex problems into simple solutions.
