"Hello, my name is Anna. I've recently graduated magna cum laude from the University of Arizona and earned a Bachelor of Arts in English. I minored in Professional and Technical Writing and took French language classes up to the 300-level. I have always been passionate about literature and found a great enjoyment in writing, which I hope to impart on the students that I tutor.

I previously tutored in high school, where I was an National Honors Society French tutor for my own peers for two years. Throughout college, I informally proofread and edited papers for my classmates and friends, which they greatly appreciated. I also was the managing editor of a student-run magazine, in which I was required to edit articles for content, structure, language, and grammar. At the university, I also was part of the English Honors Program, which I completed by writing a 25-page literary criticism thesis, which I researched and wrote over the course of my senior year.

As I have experience working and collaborating with my peers in high school and college, I would be most comfortable tutoring high school and college students when it comes to English courses and essay writing. Do, however, also have sufficient knowledge in French to confidently tutor students in beginner French (A1-A2 levels) from middle school to college.

As a tutor, I will be committed to helping students deepen their understanding of the subject(s) at hand and provide as much support for them as they need in order for them to not only pass, but succeed.
