"I'm Jackson. I'm currently a 3rd year student at NC State University pursuing a bachelor's in Aerospace Engineering. It was not all that long ago that I had to apply to college myself, and I know how stressful the process can be. Especially how stressful it can be to feel like your future depends on your performance on a standardized test. I've always been very confident with exams and test taking, so I wanted to use my knowledge and abilities to help students reach the goals they want. It's my objective to help students take a step towards the future they want.

I have been doing one-on-one ACT/SAT tutoring professionally for almost two years, along with some calculus. I focus on online one-on-one tutoring with high school students preparing for college. There are hundreds, if not thousands of different sources of information and advice for the ACT exam. I’ve used my experience working with students who’ve taken the test and going through past tests myself to develop my own custom, all-inclusive guide for ACT English, math, reading, and science, which I use to help my students understand the test as a whole and have something to reference when they need help outside of tutoring sessions. My goal is to make sure students are as prepared for the ACT as I can make them, so I’m always updating my guide with new tips and explanations to help my students, and I love hearing students’ ways of thinking to help me find better ways to explain concepts and to find new tips and tricks.
