"I have been a teacher and tutor for more that 15 years. In that time, I have taught a wide range of subjects and grades, from 1st Grade Language Arts to 12th Grade Math for Adult Learners, with my specialties being upper elementary, middle school, and high school English and math.

I have a degree in English and history from Queen's University and an education degree from the University of Ottawa, so I am qualified to teach K-12 in the province of Ontario. My Ontario College of Teachers registration number is 532400. I lived and taught for 14 years at two private schools in Taiwan, one of which was International Baccalaureate, and have taught 1,000+ English as a Second Language (ESL) students in my career.

Being in the Greater Houston area, I am open to tutoring in-person or online. In the past year, I tutored a student in 8th Grade Math, helping her to get a passing score on the state standardized math test, and I have helped a man prepare for his Nelson-Denny reading comprehension and vocabulary test. I have also taught more than 30 students via Cosmo and helped two high school seniors write their college application essays.
