"Hi! I'm Javier, and I'm a certified teacher in Alabama. I graduated from the University of Alabama with a Master's in Secondary Education in Mathematics, and a Bachelor's in Mathematics with a Concentration in Secondary Education. For the past 6 years, I have dedicated myself to the pursuit of education in the realm of mathematics. I have always loved to see the sparkle in my student's eye when a math concept finally clicks for them. For most people, math is hard - I get it! That's why in my sessions, I always give the time and the space for students to truly grow in their understanding of math without the pressure to "get it" right away. Along with my hundreds of hours' experience in the middle school and high school classrooms, I have 5 years' experience with private one-on-one tutoring at various college-level topics such as Algebra, Finite Math, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus I.
