"I have taught elementary and middle school for 28 years, with over 27 years of experience teaching math. I currently teach 6th grade math in one of the top districts in the state. I have a high rate of student success on our End of Grade state tests and a high rate of students who perform above grade level each year.

I am considered "Highly Qualified" by the state of NC where I hold a Bachelor's in Elementary Education, and an add-on license in Middle Grades Math. I am also qualified to teach Academically Gifted students, as well as, students with 504's and IEP's.

Teaching is my passion. Building students' confidence in their math abilities while helping them gain a better grasp of concepts is important to me.
