"Hi, I would love to tutor you and help you master whatever subject or topic you need help with. I have a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Master's in Information Technology and Management from the Illinois Institute of Technology.

I can also help you with English reading and writing, learning Spanish and I can teach you computer programming or how to use software effectively and efficiently on Windows, Mac and Linux. I recently tutored my 11-year old nephew on programming with HTML, CSS and JavaScript and he set up his website on his own! It is really gratifying when my students are able to apply their knowledge and achieve success independently.

I take a pragmatic approach to teaching and learning and go through several examples before continuing with a lesson. I often ask students to teach me what they've learned so they can express their knowledge in words and so they have confidence to continue learning.

I have tutored students in elementary school, middle school and high school in the past and have really enjoyed the experience. My students have had more confidence in their abilities and have seen their grades improve after working with me. I am an easygoing person and enjoy sharing my knowledge as well as learning from my students. I have a wide variety of interests including travel, reading novels, sports and standup comedy.

I went to high school in the suburbs of Chicago and was an editor of my high school newspaper and a captain Scholastic Bowl quiz team and won several awards in each. I am comfortable working with students of all ages. I have tutored older people on how to use computer software like Microsoft Office and using the Internet and social media effectively, English as a Second Language and setting up and using technology like cell phones and apps for work and fun.
