My tutoring specializations include English (reading and writing) at all levels, Math (elementary through Algebra II and Geometry), Music (all levels and areas), and Test Prep. My test prep technique is especially powerful because I help you gain expertise in the subject matter in which you'll be tested. Whether it's the PSAT, SAT, GED, GRE, Praxis, or LSAT, I can help you not only test better, but also learn the subject matter in a way that makes it stick with you.

In my tutoring I focus on the goals of the individual. Whether you're looking to understand intervals and chord structure, learn how to improve your writing, vocabulary, or math skills in order to get a higher achievement score on a test, or work to understand how X and Y could possibly equal Z for that upcoming Algebra test, I find out how you learn best so that I can help you be as successful as you choose. I firmly believe that everyone has unlimited learning potential, and it's one of my personal goals to help you unlock yours!

I love working with students of any age--my youngest was 3 years old and my oldest was 75 years old--and I take great joy in seeing my students successfully master a subject, concept, or idea to move them forward and enhance their learning. All people can thrive as learners as long as they are given the proper tools, guidance, and attention.
