"Hello, I’m Will! I’m a medical student and neuroscience researcher passionate about helping others succeed through tutoring and mentorship.
I hold a Bachelor’s in Communications, a Post-baccalaureate in Biology, and a Master’s in Industrial Design. Over the past eight years I’ve published more than 15 papers in leading peer-reviewed journals, contributed to two FDA-approved medical devices and patents, earned multiple scholarships, scored in the top quarter on the MCAT and GRE, and received offers from over a dozen graduate programs. These achievements didn’t come from innate talent—they came from failing, adapting, and steadily growing. That’s the perspective I bring to my students: success is a skill that can be learned.
As a college application mentor, I help students strengthen their entire application: packet building, essay revisions, and interview prep. I’ve guided more than 30 students toward acceptances into Bachelor’s, Master’s, PhD, and MD/DO programs, and my admissions committee experience allows me to share practical, insider advice.
As a tutor, I specialize in Neuroscience, Physiology, Anatomy, Microbiology, Cell Biology, and Biochemistry. I work with undergraduate pre-meds, healthcare graduate students, and motivated high schoolers. I emphasize not just mastering content, but mastering how to learn: active learning, spaced repetition, simplifying complex topics until you can teach them, and test-taking strategies that build long-term growth.
As a research mentor, I focus on medicine-related projects. I’ve helped more than 20 students publish peer-reviewed articles and posters, and guided high school through graduate students as they prepared competitive applications.
Regardless of whether it's tutoring, mentoring, or advising, my mission is simple: help you reach your next step. I offer a free consultation to understand your goals, answer questions, and create a personalized plan. I look forward to meeting you and supporting your academic journey!" less...
