"I'm a recent graduate from Georgia Tech in mechanical engineering, a field which has given me a lot of experience using math and physics in real world applications. I've always found a lot of enjoyment in helping explain concepts to my peers from school, and last spring, I got the chance to help a student in dual enrollment get through their college physics class.

I would love the chance to help more students in this way, breaking down concepts into something understandable. Every math and physics problem is like a fresh challenge, with the key to solving them lying in how to learn to use the tools at your disposal. So, whatever the challenge of the day may be, I'd be glad to do my best to help students learn to tackle them without fear.

Math is a key part of doing physics, so I have a lot of experience in math applications. In college, I took Linear Algebra, Differential Equations, Multivariable Calculus, and System Dynamics (Laplace Transforms, using calculus as it relates to electronics). That is to say, I've learned calculus on a higher level, but I'm still familiar with the lower levels because that's what gets used on a regular basis. If it helps, I can relate math concepts to something in the real world to help with visualization.

Classical physics in heavily used in mechanical engineering. I've used physics to design a testing rig for a lab, do force analysis on a wearable stress-sensing device, and do various lab experiments and building projects for school. In college, I took Statics, Dynamics of Rigid Bodies, Dynamics of Deformable Bodies, Thermodynamics, Heat Transfer, Fluid Mechanics, and Machine Design. I'm very familiar with the science of motion due to this experience.

You can contact me at anytime, and I'll do my best to get back to you by the next day. I can do a meeting online or in person, whichever you prefer!" less...
