"I am Luis, and I have been teaching for over twenty years, mostly high school and some middle school grades. I am a certified Biology teacher (grades 6- 12) in the State of Florida. I graduated from Florida International University with a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Biology. Moreover, I have a Master's Degree in Education that focused on Instructional Technology from St. Thomas University. At St. Thomas University, I was a member of Kappa Gamma Pi, which is a Catholic Graduate School Honor Society. Currently, I am completing my second Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from the University of West Florida. At the University of West Florida, I have been a member of Phi Kappa Phi, which is a prestigious honor society.

For over twenty years, I have dedicated my life to ensuring that each of my learners perform well in the classroom setting. Throughout those years, I have taught various science courses, including Biology, Ecology, Environmental Science, and Physical Science. Teaching students has been both an enjoyable and rewarding experience for me. I do my best to ensure that each of my students perform well on their assessments. I go above and beyond for my students, whether they are performing well or struggling. If they are struggling, I make sure that they are given additional instruction. Moreover, I spend time after school teaching them the materials they have difficulties on within a lesson. In addition, I have tutored some of my students so that they are able to grasp concepts in various science courses. I do my best to make sure that those learners receive adequate information that will benefit them to perform well in the classroom setting.

I am here to work with my students and their parents to ensure the success of the learner. With many years of experience, I know that communication with parents and students is imperative, so I want them to know that I am here to help and will reach out to them quickly if needed.
