As a PhD student at the CUNY Graduate Center and former Assistant Director of the University of Chicago Writing Program, I specialize in teaching the concrete, transferable skills that make the difference between competent writing and truly compelling work.

At UChicago, I helped run one of the most respected writing programs in the country, developing curriculum for 3,000+ students annually and training over 300 instructors. I also taught the university's flagship course, "The Little Red Schoolhouse," which uses a reader-centered approach to help writers build clarity and value for their audiences. This framework is subject-agnostic—equally effective for a literary analysis, a sociology case study, or a biology research abstract.
