"Fascinated by science from a young age, I began my research journey at UCI in high school, furthering my interest in the sciences. This passion led me to UCLA, where I double majored in Chemical Engineering and Biochemistry, graduating in 2009. After a year as a lab technician, I completed my PhD in Biochemistry at the University of Texas at Austin in 2016.

Throughout my academic career, I faced challenges with studying and focusing, exacerbated by a later diagnosis of ADHD in graduate school. This personal struggle led me to develop unique study strategies, adapting to my learning style. These experiences have been transformative, equipping me with insights and techniques I'm keen to share with my students.

I believe in the uniqueness of each student's learning path. With extensive experience in biochemistry, chemistry, and biology, my goal is not just to teach these subjects, but to guide students in discovering their own learning methods. I've learned that multiple paths lead to understanding, and I'm committed to helping students find their way.
