"I am a fourth year Mechanical Engineering student at UCLA on the summa cum laude track, and I've spent the past five years tutoring middle school, high school, and college students in algebra, geometry, calculus, physics, MATLAB, and ACT/SAT math. I graduated high school as valedictorian, completed 14 AP courses, and earned a 35 on the ACT, which gives me a strong foundation for helping students prepare for standardized tests as well as their school coursework. My academic background is paired with real engineering experience, including roles as a Manufacturing Equipment Engineer at Tesla and a Maintenance Engineer at Amazon, which allows me to connect abstract concepts to real world problem solving.

My tutoring style blends structure with adaptability. I like to start with clear example problems and walk students through the reasoning behind each step, but I adjust my approach depending on how the student learns best. I pay close attention to how students explain their thinking, and I'm very good at noticing when someone says they understand something but really doesn't. From there, I ask targeted questions that uncover the confusion and guide them toward clarity.
