"Hello! My name is Polo and I am a recent UCLA graduate, now working as a UCLA Neuroscience research apprentice until I start medical school. During my time at UCLA, I was part of the Learning Assistant program in the sciences, and eventually became Head Learning Assistant. My responsibilities included applying evidence-based learning techniques in UCLA STEM classrooms, as well as teaching other Learning Assistants on how to more effectively foster learning in their classrooms.

I have been tutoring for seven years now, as I began tutoring math in high school. I scored in the top 1% nationwide on the SAT, with a score of 1540, and I am passionate about helping students maximize their potential on the SAT! I also earned the College Board's award of National AP Scholar, having taken 12 AP Exams and scoring the highest score possible on seven of them. (I have listed my scores at the bottom of this page)
