"I’m a dedicated physics and mathematics tutor with a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and a B.S. in Physics from the University of California, Santa Cruz. My doctoral thesis, “Photons with a Twist: Coherent Optical Vortices From Relativistic Electron Beams,” reflects my strong background in both theoretical and experimental physics. During my time at UCLA, I was honored to receive the GAANN Fellowship and the Poster Award at the Advanced Accelerator Concepts Workshop. These experiences have strengthened not only my technical expertise but also my ability to communicate complex scientific ideas clearly and effectively.

I have extensive teaching experience as a Teaching Assistant at UCLA, where I lectured and supervised laboratory experiments in Introductory Mechanics, Electricity and Magnetism, and Optics for classes of around 20 students. My approachable teaching style and focus on conceptual understanding earned me the highest student evaluations among all physics TAs during the 2006 Spring Quarter. In addition to university teaching, I taught SAT and MCAT physics preparation courses for The Princeton Review, helping students significantly improve both their comprehension and test scores.
