"Hi all! Currently I’m a third year student at UConn working towards three degrees (yes, three!). In 2026, I hope to graduate with my Bachelor’s in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology and my Bachelor’s in Education with a specialization in Biology Education. In 2027, I will graduate with my Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction and be certified to teach in the state of Connecticut. I wouldn’t do all of this if I wasn’t committed to teaching our next generation!

As part of the program I’m in at UConn, I intern in a different classroom each semester. In these internships I do a lot of observing to learn about best practices, designing lessons, and delivering those lessons in both a small group and large group format. I believe that science needs to be learned in an interactive way, and I try my best to make sure I am reaching every learner. Because of this, there is a lot of individualized instruction and one-on-one teaching that happens during my lessons.

I am primarily interested in tutoring high school students in Biology and Earth Science, but am open to tutoring English as well (I have an English minor as well and will be pursuing a cross endorsement for Secondary English once I graduate).
