I am Aed, a UCSD alumnus with a B.S. in Biology and minor in psychology. Currently a fourth year medical student at UCSD School of Medicine. I Scored in the 90th percentile in the Biological and Biochemical section of the MCAT and passed Step 1 exam.

I have served as a TA for Human Physiology at UCSD for 2 consecutive years in addition to serving as General Chemistry tutor at high schools abroad, in Turkey. My methodology doesn't encompass simply solving problems for students nor rote memorization but encouraging critical thinking and analysis and enriching methods to apply knowledge to real life examples. I emphasize the use of drawings and what matters to me the most is delivering clear and concise information.

To me, teaching is extremely rewarding and I reach a great level of happiness and satisfaction when I help my fellow students meet their educational goals and earn the grades they aim for and more importantly, have a great understanding of the material.
