"I am an organized and flexible math tutor with more than 12 years of teaching expertise and a passion to teach. All these years I have tutored more than 100 students ranging from Elementary to High School as well as college students whether it is with homework help, extra practice, giving lessons, enrichment or preparing for quizzes. I have been working with kids from almost all the neighborhood schools, including students from Thomas Jefferson and the Academy of Science. I am an M.S. in mathematics and specialized in pre-algebra, algebra 1, geometry, algebra 2, pre-calculus, trigonometry, calculus AB and BC, finite mathematics, differential equations, SAT test prep, and ACT test prep.

My approach towards tutoring is customized learning as I try to figure out the weak points of the student and work on those points in a way to make them feel interested in the topic. For example, applying concepts in a real world scenario. I discuss the topics to work on with the student prior to the session and always go over the basics with the students and make them feel comfortable enough to ask questions in between without any hesitation. I then give my students fun and challenging math problems that will make them think critically, and after each session I provide them with related study guides and homework.
