"My teaching and tutoring career began in 1997 when I was a Teaching Assistant as a master student in mathematics, from then on, I have been teaching and tutoring university students, or high school students for more than 25 years, covering courses in math, statistics, and computer science.

I'm able to tutor effectively because my academic training is grounded in a strong foundation of mathematics, statistics, and computer science. I hold a Ph.D. in Mathematical Statistics, an M.S. in Computer Science, a B.S. in Control Theory, a Teacher's Certificate in Mathematics in China, and a Teacher's Certificate in Mathematics in the US is in the approval process. This combination allows me to support students not only in core math subjects but also in advanced areas such as probability, statistical modeling, and programming. My background helps me explain abstract concepts with clarity, connect ideas across disciplines, and adapt explanations to different learning levels.

My teaching and tutoring experience spans university classrooms, one-on-one sessions, and small-group instruction, working with students ranging from middle school learners to adult college students. Over more than a decade of teaching, I've developed a method centered on step-by-step scaffolding, visual reasoning, and example-driven explanations-an approach that helps students build confidence and independence.
