"Hello and welcome! I'm Aslynn H., an assistant professor of Kinesiology with an MS in Exercise Physiology and an EdD in Kinesiology.

I have over 10 years of teaching experience, including time as a long-term substitute, 2 years in a high school classroom, and 8 years in higher education. Additionally, I have 6 years of tutoring experience and 13 years of coaching in track and field, strength training, personal training, and basketball.

Currently, I teach a variety of kinesiology-related courses at a land grant university. My teaching experience spans subjects like anatomy, exercise physiology, biomechanics, strength and conditioning, exercise prescription, sport psychology, and coaching. On the high school level, I’ve taught biology and ecology. I hold certifications as a NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and a USATF Level 2 Certified Coach, and I recently completed my EdD with a focus on concussion recovery in female collegiate athletes.

I also offer paper editing, resume and cover letter reviews, mentoring, career development, and college/grad school application assistance.
